Raymond K. Burch, 83, of Canton, retired truck driver for John E. Jones Oil Co. of Woodston, died Jan. 28 at the Hillsboro Community Medical Center.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1 at Canton Christian Church. He will be buried at Canton Township Cemetery with military honors.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31 at Olson’s Mortuary in Canton.
He was born Dec. 23, 1924, to George Alfred and Mary Bliss Shayler Burch in Hollis. On May 31, 1949, he was married to Betty Bisnett who survives in Canton.
He is also survived by a son, Keith Burch of Brighton, Colo.; five daughters, Dianna Unruh of Galva, Jeanie Nelson of Chelsea, Okla., Sheila LeDunc of Assaria, Kim Nightingale of Galva, Eddie Sue Howard of McPherson; a brother, Gene Burch of Alberta, Canada; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established with the American Diabetes Association.
