Centre—After bettering Hope 36-35 Tuesday at the Eisenhower League tournament, the Cougars lost to eventual tournament champion Wakefield, 72-57. The Cougars bounced back to claim third place with a 60-56 win over White City Saturday. Up next for Centre is a Friday night visit from White City. On Tuesday, the Cougars travel to Solomon.

Canton-Galva—A 17-5 first quarter outburst by Bennington put the Eagles behind the 8-ball early in a 65-45 loss in the third place game at the Canton-Galva Invitational. The Eagles tagged Rock Creek 80-65 in the first round game.

Ted Regehr scored 24 points to lead the 6-man rotation: Andrew Westbrook scored 15, Destin Nightengale had 13, Bryant Baldwin and Riley Nigh each had 10, and Codey Johnson scored eight. Sedgwick topped Canton-Galva 77-40 on Thursday to deny the Eagles a trip to the championship game.

Up next for CGHS is a Tuesday night visit from Remington and a Friday night game at home against Hutch Trinity.

Goessel—Pretty Prairie handed the Bluebirds a 55-51 overtime loss, and Goessel finished sixth at the Burrton tournament.

p next is a visit from Little River Friday, with a trip to Berean Academy scheduled for Tuesday.

Peabody-Burns—A 30-47 loss to Berean in the first round followed by a 53-51 win over Burrton and a 38-37 win over Fairfield put the Warriors in fifth place at the Burrton tournament. Up next is a Tuesday night contest against Sedgwick followed by a Friday night visit from Little River.
