Greetings from the Hillsboro Senior Center. We wish you many blessings, peace and love this new year. Come and make the Senior Center part of your week.

For Thursday Theatre Jan. 24, we will show “Little Women” beginning at 12:30 p.m. We will have our birthday dinner Monday, Jan. 28, and Ann Shepherd will share special music after lunch. On Wednesday, Jan. 30, we will have Games, Gab and Goodies for the ladies after lunch.

A big thank you to our weekly volunteers: Irma Koop, Irma Groening, Carol Hicks, Frieda Birkle, Nellie Penner, Louise Rahe and Mariann Unruh.

WEDNESDAY, Jan. 23

Roast beef, mashed potatoes with gravy, stewed tomatoes, wheat bread, spiced apples.

THURSDAY, Jan. 24

Barbecue ribbette, baked potato, cucumbers and onions, wheat bread, tropical fruit.

FRIDAY, Jan. 25

Turkey tetrazinni, California blend, wheat bread, Jell-O with peas, chocolate scotcherous.

MONDAY, Jan. 28

Birthday dinner—ham and beans, carrots, cornbread, banana salad, sherbert.

TUESDAY, Jan. 29

Salisbury steak with mushrooms, mashed potatoes, baked squash, wheat bread, easy fruit dessert.

WEDNESDAY, Jan. 30

Turkey slice, sweet potato casserole, Italian blend, wheat roll, creamy orange salad.
