Anna Orvell Brunner, 87, of Ramona, teacher and homemaker, died Jan. 20 at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 24 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ramona. She will be buried at Lewis Cemetery in Ramona.
Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23 at Carlson-Becker Funeral Home in Hope.
She was born Jan. 1, 1921, to Merlin Calvin and Lena Mae (Rock) Long in Hope. On June 3, 1945, she was married to Lauren Brunner, who survives.
She is also survived by a daughter, Ann and Bernie Koch of Wichita; three sons, Kent and Jean Brunner of Lost Springs, Tracy and Yvonne Brunner of Ramona, and Mark Brunner of Ramona; a sister, Arvis Shields of Raytown, Mo.; a brother, John and Betty Dyck of Minneapolis; sisters-in-law, Doris Long of Abilene, and Virginia Shields of Lincolnville; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established with Trinity Lutheran Church in care of Carlson-Becker Funeral Home.
