Written by Karly Winter
Wednesday, 12 December 2007
Greetings from the Hillsboro Senior Center! We are down to just 13 days until Christmas. Let us do some of your holiday cooking by joining us for a meal and an activity or two.

For Thursday Theatre on Dec. 13, we will show the two-hour movie “White Christmas,” after lunch.

Beginning Monday, Dec. 17, we will have Red and Green week. Please wear Christmas clothing or red and green to the center during the week.

We will have our Carry-in Meal Wednesday, Dec. 19. Please bring a dish or dessert to share as well as your own table settings.

Also on Dec. 19, Dr. Zafar will begin hearing checks at 11:15 a.m. followed by a performance by Spirit & Celebration at 11:30 a.m. Lunch will immediately follow the performance. We hope you will join us!

A big thank-you to our weekly volunteers: Carol Hicks, Irma Groening, Frieda Birkle, Marcella Mohn, Carol Ollenburger, Darlene Matz, Louise Rahe, Nellie Penner, Gladys Buller, Mariann Unruh and Lois Nuss. —Karly Winter, director
