Linessa Duerksen of Goessel and Justin Pontious of Newton were married at 4 p.m. Sept. 22 at Pilsen Community Center with judge Richard Walker officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Doug and Lisa Duerksen of Goessel. The groom is the son of Ron and Roberta McGlachlin of Newton.
Maid of honor was Rinda Duerksen. Bridesmaids were Heather Blandin and Raeanne Casey. The flower girl was Allison Blandin.
Best man was Brandon McGlachlin. Groomsmen were Lee Curle, Derrek Duerksen and Tristan Schmitz. The ring bearer was Matthew Eldridge.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Pilsen Community Center.
The bride is employed at Bethesda Home in Goessel. The groom is employed with R Messner Construction in Wichita.
The couple resides in Newton.
