Greetings from the Hillsboro Senior Center. We are down to just 20 days until Christmas. Let us do some of your holiday cooking by joining us for a meal and an activity or two.

Friday, Dec. 7 is our Candy Cane Parade. Bring some different candy canes to try and to share. Game night will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10. Bring a favorite game and a snack to share. Our Christmas meal will be held at noon Wednesday, Dec. 12. David Vogel will share special music with us, and Carla Koslowsky will play a Christmas piano prelude. Make your reservations through Friday afternoon. No late reservations will be accepted.

A big thank you to our weekly volunteers: Carol Hicks, Irma Groening, Margaret Funk, Carol Unruh, JoAnne Faurot, Gladys Buller, Nellie Penner, Mariann Unruh and Frances Rempel.

—Karly Winter, director
