Four members of Hillsboro’s league-champion volleyball team have received all-league recognition from the coaches of the Mid-Central Activities Association.
Marion was represented on the all-league list by two sophomores.
Representing the Trojans (31-6) on the first team are sophomore outside hitter Dakota Kaufman, one of four unanimous picks, and senior outside hitter Amy Neufeld.
Senior Chelsea Bebermeyer received second-team honors as an opposite hitter and senior Amanda Bina received honorable mention as a libero and defensive specialist.
For Marion (8-23), outside hitter Julia Zeiner was picked for the second team and middle hitter Kayley Heerey received honorable mention.
Hillsboro won the league title with a 10-1 mark while Marion finished seventh among 12 teams at 5-6.
