Royal and Mary (Sangwin) Smith will celebrate their 50th wedding
anniversary with an open house from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 9,
at Eastmoor United Methodist Church in Marion.
They were married June 2, 1957, in White City.
Hosts are their children, Craig of Ozawkie, Jandee Moore and Jaella
Hett of Marion and Jalynn of Smith; eight grandchildren and one
great-grandchild.
The couple requests no gifts.
Newfields near 50th anniversary
Rudolph and Jean (Schroeder) Newfield of Peabody will celebrate their
50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. June
3 at the Peabody Christian Church.
They were married June 7, 1957, at the Grace Hill Mennonite Church in rural Whitewater.
Hosts will be their children, Eugene and Tammy, Cynthia Pohlman,
Timothy and Tera, Anthony and Jolene, and Patricia and Bill Smith.
Foxes to celebrate 50th anniversary
John and Wanda Fox of Lehigh will celebrate their 50th wedding
anniversary with a reception from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. June 9 at the
Hillsboro United Methodist Church fellowship hall.
They were married June 29, 1957, at First United
Methodist Church in Beloit, and are formerly of Norton before moving to
Lehigh in 1998.
John was a mechanic and machinist for Big “A” auto
parts for 38 years. Wanda is a registered nurse and worked at the
Norton County Hospital for 32 years.
Hosts will be their children, Dale and Rachelle and family of Manhattan and Malinda and Ken Stuchlik and family of Towanda.
The couple requests no gifts.
