A Mother’s Day meal will be held Friday, May 11, at the Hillsboro Senior Center. Bring your favorite memories and pictures of your mother to share.
National Receptionists’ Day is Monday, May 14.
A show-and-tell will be held after lunch Tuesday, May 15.
Haris Zafar will check and clean hearing aids at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, May 16. Following the noon carry-in meal, Sheila Schmitt, associate professor of piano and piano pedagogy at Tabor College, will give a piano performance.
The center will hold a fund-raising garage sale and silent auction June 8 and 9. The center is looking for donated clothes, household items, small appliances and miscellaneous items, which may be dropped off at the front entryway. Profits will be used for ongoing expenses.
