Jeff and Julie Hanschu of McPherson announce the birth of a daughter, Evelyn Marie, born May 4 at Salina Regional Medical Center.

She weighed 9 pounds, 2 ounces and was 20 inches long.

She joins brother Benjamin, 2 1/2.

Grandparents are Lyle and Carol Hanschu of Lost Springs and Rich and Jan Hilgers of Ogallah.

Great-grandparents are Viola Reeves of Wichita, the late Warren Goentzel, Dick and Evelyn Seigrist of Sterling and Jim and Betty Hilgers of Hays.

Elsie Jordan

Jeremy and Amy Jordan of Ames, Iowa, announce the birth of a daughter, Elisabeth “Elsie” Annette, born April 4 in Ames.

She weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces and was 20 inches long.

She joins sister Alice Anna, age 2 1/2.

Grandparents include Gaylord and Peggy Goertzen of Hillsboro and Brenda Jordan of Marion.

Great-grandparents are Virgil and Phyllis Litke of Marion and Vivian Blodget Hughes of Bakersfield, Calif.

Colton Jost

Austin and Erica Jost of Newton announce the birth of a son, Colton Edward, born April 18 in Wichita.

He weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces and was 19 inches long.

Grandparents are Royce and Bonnie Saltzman of Newton and Kevin and Angy Jost of Hillsboro.
