Fourteen Tabor College Bluejays have been feted for all-conference honors in either baseball, softball or tennis.
Seven members of the baseball team were honored: outfielder Chris Huston, first team; first baseman Roger Schroder, second baseman J.D. Poplin, infielder Tyson Bauerle, outfielder Errol Bailey, catcher Chris Brown and pitcher Tyler McKim, second team.
Three Bluejays received honorable mention in softball: April Funk, Kalie George and Danielle Goossen.
In tennis, in addition to being selected to the men’s all-conference first team, Emerson Kochem was named one of two KCAC “freshmen of the year.”
Aaron Friesen was selected to the second team and was named “scholar athlete of the year” by the coaches.
For the women, Laurel Delamater and Ashlee Helmley were first-team selections.
Delamater, a unanimous selection, was also named “most valuable player.”
