Jayson Hanschu, an American Family Insurance agent from Hillsboro, has received the company's Elite Farm/Ranch Insurance Agent Award.

He joins a select group of AFI agents who achieved outstanding expertise in the area of farm and ranch insurance.

Hanschu has been an AFI agent since September 1998.

Hillsboro High School and Tabor College alum Jennifer Rector of McPherson has been awarded the professional insurance designation of chartered property casualty underwriter by the American Institute for CPCU.

She is employed as a farm lines underwriter with Farmers Alliance.

Karen Miles and Lori Klein of Hillsboro attended the Creative Memories 2007 regional convention this past week in Kansas City.

Miles was one of the featured speakers.
