The Marion wrestlers wrapped up their dual schedule with wins over Lyons and Haven on Thursday in Hillsboro.
Against Lyons, Cody Wildin, Adam Regnier, Levi Anderson, Tyler Neil, Charlie Holub, Hank Collett and Nick Klenda all grabbed wins as Marion rolled to a 57-12 team victory.
Oliver Whitney, Sheldon Boone, Derek Riggs and Doug Schroeder all scored uncontested points for the team.
Three Warriors won by way of a fall: Anderson (130 pounds), Regnier (125) and Wildin (119). Neil (135), Holub (140), Collett (145) and Klenda (189) won by decision.
Against Haven, the Warriors got wins from Dillon Wildin, Collett, John Barr, Klenda and Schroeder.
Marion added points for Whitney, Neil, Holub, and Riggs and the team totaled a 51-18 victory. Dillon Wildin (130), Collett, Klenda and Schroeder (275) won by fall. Barr (152) won by decision.
"We finished the dual season very strong," coach Chad Adkins said. "We seem to be peaking at the right time. I've been pleased with our progress but we still have a lot of work to do."
The Warriors will compete this weekend at the Class 3-2-1A regional tournament at Burlington for a chance to
qualify athletes for state competition in Hays the following weekend.
