The Hillsboro Senior Center is taking applications for a new manager. Applications for the part-time position are available at the front office.

Mary McFadden will visit the center on the first and second Tuesdays of the month to give foot care and take blood pressure by appointment.

Jeannie Rziha will offer her diabetics class from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Feb. 6, 12, 20 and 27. Class fee is $25, with no additional fee if a spouse wishes to attend as well.

Noreen Weems will visit the center Feb. 8 to help with the Homestead, Food and Low Income Energy Assistance Program. Call the center at 947-2301 for an appointment.

The video "Crime: Senior Alert" will be shown Feb. 8.

Call the center if you would like assistance from a Tabor College student with tax-return preparation this year.

Commodities will be available Feb. 15 at the center.

Those who would like to begin receiving the monthly newsletter can call 947-2301 or stop by the center.

A big thank-you to our weekly volunteers.
