John and Bertha Hiebert of Goessel, Kandy Stone of Newton and Loewell Stone of Newton announce the engagement of Lance Hiebert and Kayla Stone.

The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Newton High School and a freshman at Bethel College planning to major in nursing for social work.

Her fiance is a 2004 graduate of Goessel High School. He graduated in 2006 with a degree in automotive mechanics from Salina Area Technical School and works at Main Street Station in Goessel.

The wedding is planned for July 14 at Hesston Mennonite Brethren Church.
