LeRoy Dallke

LeRoy A. Dallke, 88, retired Rock Island Railroad employee, died Dec. 16 at Legacy Park in Peabody.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20, at Baker Funeral Home in Peabody. Interment will be at Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Peabody.

He was born Feb. 6, 1918, to Abe and Amy (Kimberlin) Dallke in El Dorado. On Dec. 22, 1940, he was married to Hazel Dowell, who survives at Legacy Park.

He is also survived by a son, Randy and Cindy of Peabody; a daughter, Patsy and Tim Litton of Peabody; a sister-in-law, Edna Schill of Legacy Park; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.

A memorial has been established with Avenue of Flags in Peabody.

Marlys Harder

Marlys Heide Harder, 85, died Dec. 6 in Lawrence.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 21, at the Spencer Museum of Art in Lawrence. Burial will be at Pioneer Cemetery in Lawrence.

Family will greet friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Adams Alumni Center.

She was born March 3, 1921, to Peter C. and Bertha (Berg) Heide in Hillsboro. On Oct. 17, 1944, she was married to Marvin A. Harder, who died in 1993.

She is survived by a daughter, Heide (Harder) and Mark Connolly of Lawrence; a sister-in-law, Joan (Harder) and Leland Kaufman; brother-in-law, Leland and Bertha Harder; and four grandchildren.

Memorials have been established with the Spencer Museum of Art and Audio Reader in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence.

Martha Keazer

Martha Edith Keazer, 53, homemaker, died Dec. 17 at Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 22, at Zeiner Funeral Home in Marion with Jean Bergren officiating. Cremation has taken place.

She was born Feb. 2, 1953, to Alfred and Lorena (Littlejohn) Palmatire in Hutchinson. On Dec. 7, 1980, she was married to Donald L. Keazer, who survives in Marion.

She is also survived by a son, Casey W. of Marion; a daughter, Tracey Speice of Inman; a step-daughter, Mickey Oursler of Burns; three brothers, Frank, Abe and John Palmatire, all of Hutchinson; a sister, Mary Hamilton of Hutchinson; and four grandchildren.

A memorial has been established with Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post No. 6958.

Bill Krebs

William D. Krebs, 67, farmer and stockman, died Dec. 14 at Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City.

Vigil service was held Dec. 17 at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City. Funeral Mass was held Dec. 18 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City with Warren Stecklein officiating. Burial was in Scott County Cemetery.

He was born Jan. 3, 1939, to William R. and Alta M. Scott Krebs in Scott City. On. Aug. 24, 1957, he was married to Marilyn Basgall, who survives.

He is also survived by a son, Brad of Quincy, Ill.; a daughter, Deena and Stephen Hedges of Burlington; his mother, Alta of Scott City; a brother, Don and Jeanie of Hillsboro; and two grandsons.

Memorials have been established with St. Joseph Catholic Church and Scott Community Foundation for Youth.
