The Peabody United Methodist Church will hold its fall dinner from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, at 403 N. Sycamore.

The meal will include turkey or baked ham with all the trimmings and a homemade dessert bar. Cost is by donation.

The public is invited to attend.

PEO chapter to meet Nov. 20 at Reno's

The DB chapter of PEO will meet at 7 p.m. Nov. 20 in the home of Judy Reno.

Gary Ewert will present "The Treasure of Education."

The chapter met Nov. 6 at Eastmoor United Methodist Church to hear Ruth Viets present "A Treasured Surprise."

The Marion County Special Education Cooperative board of directors will meet at 7 p.m. Nov. 20 in the MCSEC conference room at 302 W. Eighth, Florence.

Marion Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Farm-City Banquet steak fry at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20, at the Marion City Building.
