Call ahead to schedule a hearing appointment with Haris Zafar, scheduled to visit the Hillsboro Senior Center Oct. 18.

John and Cindy Baize will offer a slide presentation following the noon meal Oct. 18 on their mission trip last summer to an orphanage in Guatemala City.

An outing to see "Singin' In the Rain" at the Crown Uptown Theater In Wichita is planned for Nov. 2. Cost is $35 for tickets, lunch and transportation. Call to reserve a bus seat.

Call the center to sign up for the waiting list for the postponed AARP defensive driver class.

Those who would like to begin receiving the monthly newsletter can call 947-2301 or stop by the center.
