Roger and Mary Lee Wilkening of Canton will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 8 at the American Legion in Canton.
Roger Wilkening and Mary Lee Fleming, formerly of Galva, were married Oct. 7, 1966, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Canton. Mary Lee works at Farmer's Alliance Insurance in McPherson. Roger is an owner of Kansas Construction Service in Canton.
The event is being hosted by their children, Andrea and Brad Potter of McPherson, Lynnette and Ryan Hilty of Hutchinson and Carla and Jason Hamm of Hillsboro; and their six grandchildren.
