Stephanie Marie Hajek and Kyle Matthew Luna, both of Wichita, were married June 23 at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Pilsen. Father Hein Nguyen officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Gary and Vickie Hajek of Lost Springs and the granddaughter of Ann Boese of Marion and Mildred Hajek of Lost Springs.
The groom is the son of George and Dawn Luna of Antelope and the grandson of Cora Rogers of Antelope and Julia and Manuel Luna of Lost Springs.
The bride wore a two-piece lace and taffeta dress by Morie Lee. The halter bodice featuring a dropped waistline and crystal-beaded lace overlay. The taffeta skirt had a chapel-length train and was surrounded with rouched pick-ups. She carried a bouquet of yellow and tangerine roses with celery-colored accents.
Matron of honor was Michelle Truman, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Traci Bell, Ashton Smith, Ashley Hatterman and Alisha Loveless, friends of the bride. They wore floor-length gowns of celery-green chiffon with a halter bodice. The bride's personal attendant was Holly Lesh.
Flower girl was Maggie McLean, cousin of the bride. Ring bearer was Tyler Truman and honorary ring bearer was Derek Truman, nephews of the bride.
Best man was Brandon Luna. Groomsmen were James Bina, Levi Lara, Travis Burns and Curtis Gutsch, friends of the groom.
Guests were seated by Brad Hajek, Jarrod Truman and Ross Stuchlik. Guest book attendants were Megan Stuchlik and Alyssa Luna.
Presenters of flowers for Mary were Jill Fenske and Andrea Stahlecker. Lector was Ryan Bina. Musicians were organist Charlene Svitak and vocalist Diane Boese.
A reception and dance followed the ceremony. Host and hostess were Deborah and Tony Luna. Marissa Makovec designed the square, three-tiered marble-flavored cake divided by roses, accented with a border of celery green ribbon and topped with a mirror "L" cake. Cake servers were RaeLene Hajek, Donna Hajek and Shelia Rogers.
Following a honeymoon to Cancun, Mexico, the couple resides in Wichita. The bride is employed as a salon manager, and the groom is working at Cessna Aircraft.
