Beverly Schroeder

Beverly Ann Schroeder, 56, employee of Prairie Independent Living and long-time resident of Hutchinson, Buhler and Hillsboro areas, died Saturday, July 22, at Hillsboro Community Medical Center.

The funeral was Tuesday, July 25, at Buhler Mennonite Church with pastor Randy Smith officiating. Burial was in Buhler Municipal Cemetery.

She was born April 30, 1950, to Irvin D. and Mildred Regier Schroeder in McPherson.

Survivors include a son, Joshua Plenert of Hillsboro; a daughter, Katherine Plenert of Bethesda, Md.; her parents of Hillsboro; a brother, Bruce Schroeder of Hillsboro, and two grandsons.

A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society in care of Buhler Mortuary, 120 N. Main St., Buhler, KS 67522.

David Suffield

David L. Suffield, 64, mechanic of Lincolnville, died Saturday, July 22, at his residence.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, at the Valley United Methodist Church in Marion, with pastor Nancy Douglas and John Hybsha officiating. Interment will follow in the Claney Cemetery in rural Marion.

He was born July 13, 1942, to Lloyd and Mildred (Ubben) Suffield at Peabody. On March 4, 1983, he was married to Tamara Loveless, who survives in Hillsboro.

Survivors also include five sons, Dustin of Wichita, Dale of Wichita, Dwayne of Burns, Rodney Barnett of Wamego and Anthony of Marion, Ind.; three daughters, Nichole Suffield of Hillsboro, Roxanne Suffield of Hillsboro and Donna Suffield of Burns; two brothers, Gerald of Sublette and Edwin "Butch" of Peabody; three sisters, Wilma Hybsha of Newton, Juanita Birkle of Marion and Linda Olsen of Newton; and seven grandchildren, William, Alexis, Sam, Marina, Asia, Haley and Ethan.

A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society.

Elmer Wall

Elmer Wall, 90, farmer, died July 18 at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro.

The service was Friday evening, July 21, at Trinity Mennonite Church in Hillsboro, officiated by pastor Dave Plett. The family held a private family burial.

He was born Jan. 20, 1916, to Heinrich Wall and Anna Adrian Wall in Mountain Lake, Minn. On May 16, 1944, he was married to Frieda Bartel, who survives in Hillsboro.

Survivors also include a son, Robert G. Wall and wife Joyce of Conway Springs; a daughter, Sandra Garrad and husband John B. of Antelope; a daughter-in-law, JoAnn Wall of Hillsboro, and seven grandchildren.

A memorial has been established for the Hillsboro M.B. Church Pipe Organ fund.
