-- On behalf of hospital patients in our region, we would like to thank the people who came in to donate blood at the American Red Cross blood drive July 3 and all who volunteered during the drive.
We can feel proud we did our part to ensure lifesaving blood is available to those in need, especially during the summer, a time when blood shortages are common. We exceeded our goal of 50 by having 71 productive units. We had none new donors, What a great response.
We hope all of you look forward to saving more lives at our next drive on Sept. 5. Let's try to exceed our response of 71 for this next drive.
