Ray and Eunice Matz of Hillsboro celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary June 25.
Joining them for a dinner were their children, grandchildren and other family members.
They were married June 23, 1946, at First Mennonite Church in Hillsboro.
After Ray's discharge from the Merchant Marines, he ran a glass and upholstery shop in Hillsboro for 59 years. He still works there part-time.
Eunice was secretary for Unified School District 410 for 26 years and a secretary at the Hillsboro Senior Center for 15 years.
The couple have four children: Rich and Ruth Matz of Wichita, Ray and Pat Matz of Olathe, Reg Matz of Manhattan and Eydie Klassen of Newton; six grandchildren and one step-great-grandson.
Heinriches take cruise to Alaska
Lowell and Bonita Unruh Heinrichs celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 1 on an Alaskan cruise with their children and grandchildren.
They were married June 1, 1956, at Tabor Mennonite Church in rural Newton.
Lowell is a retired Collision Repair manager, and Bonita is a retired school librarian.
They have two sons, Romney and wife Donna of Hesston, and Kendall and wife Sunny of Ulysses, and four grandchildren.
