Laura Christine Cupps and Todd Brandon Becker, both of Marion, announce their engagement and plans to be married.
Parents of couple are Anita and Martin Hooper of Marion, and Kent and Ginger Becker of Durham.
The bride-to-be graduated from Marion High School in 1995. She is a paraeducator at Marion Elementary School.
The groom-to-be is a 1995 graduate of Hillsboro High School. He is employed by Excel Industries in Hesston and North Cottonwood Outfitters Hunting Guide.
The couple plans to be married Oct. 21 at Marion Christian Church.
