Jodi Lynne (Hawkinson) Simmons of Gardnerville, Nev., and Kerry Rosfeld of Minden, Nev., announce their engagement. The couple's parents are Tom Hawkinson of Hutchinson, Vici Murphy of Hillsboro, Jeri Packe of Las Vegas, Nev., and the late Tony Packe.
Simmons is a 1988 graduate of Hillsboro High School and was in the army thereafter till 1993. She is employed as a building inspector at the Douglas County Building Department.
Packe is a 1995 graduate of Faith Lutheran High School in Las Vegas and studies in criminal justice at the University of Reno in Nevada. He is employed as a deputy sheriff at the Douglas County Sheriff's Department.
The couple will be married June 17 in the Sierra Nevada Golf Ranch in Genoa, Nev.
