DEATHS- Elsie G. Rhodes

Elsie G (Kimle) Rhodes, 88, of Marion, died Saturday April 29 at Select Specialty Care Hospital, located at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. The funeral will be Wednesday, May 3, at Gaylord Community Church in Gaylord. Burial will be in Gaylord Cemetery. She was born Sept. 20, 1917, in Campbell, Neb., the daughter of Fred Jacob Kimle and Mary Sophia Lutkemeier. On Sept. 8, 1955, she was married to William G. "Bill" Rhodes, who predeceased her in 1997. She is survived by a son, Bruce Rhodes and wife Brenda of Marion; a sister, Erma Meyer of Great Bend, a brother, Phil Kimle of Thermopolis, Wyo.; grandchildren Abby Rhodes of Columbia, Mo., Matt and Molly Rhodes of Marion, and Bill and Katie Rhodes of Goddard, and one great-grandchild. Memorials can be made to Gaylord Community Church in care of Zeiner Funeral Home of Marion.
