A team of six Tabor College students took third in the Global Trivia Night on Central Asia at the Interfaith Ministries Gallery March 31 in Wichita. The event was sponsored by the Global Learning Center. Four teams endured 10 rounds of questions covering history, geography, culture, political leadership, sports, arts and entertainment from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Armenia, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iran. Students from Wichita State University and Cowley County Community College also competed. One team did not have student representation. Aleen Ratzlaff, associate professor of communications, and Lisa and David Dobson arranged for Tabor College to participate. Lisa Dodson is program director of Tabor College Wichita's business administration program. The purpose of the GLC is to raise awareness of global issues.
