ANNIVERSARIES- Bases observe 50 years of marriage

Palmer and Lucille Base of Tampa celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary March 25. Palmer Base and Lucille Thiesen were married March 25, 1956, at the Tabor Mennonite Church near Goessel. He is a farmer and she is a homemaker. The couple have two children: daughter Pamela and husband Merle Hartman of Andover, and the late son, Merrill Base.
