Rose Olive Hett, 83, former beautician and homemaker, died March 11 at St. Luke Hospital in Marion.
The funeral was 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Eastmoor United Methodist Church with pastor John Goering officiating. Burial was at Marion Cemetery.
She was born Jan. 3, 1923, to Albert and Rosetta Haber Schlender at Olpe. On June 5, 1949, she was married to Roy Hett, who predeceased her.
She is survived by son Glen Hett and wife Pam of Marion, daughter Wanda and husband George Coe of Wichita, foster son George Bales of Topeka and three grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Marion Assisted Living.
Jodi Stevens, 38
Jodi Carol Stevens, 38, licensed practical nurse from Peabody, died March 6 in Hillsboro.
The funeral service was at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 11, at Baker Funeral Home in Peabody with pastor Jim Pohlman officiating. Visitation was prior to the service.
She was born July 7, 1967, to Jay William Randolph Street and Billie Rose Harris Street at Fort Stewart, Ga.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Louis Stevens; her parents of Yorktown, Va.; sons Robert Louis Stevens of Halstead and William Fowler Stevens and Jesse Simons Stevens, both of Peabody; brothers Jay William Street and Jeffrey Lewis Street, both of Newport News; sister Jennie Lee Street Cass of Newport News; and one grandchild.
A memorial fund has been established with Peabody Christian Church.
Dorothy Wilson, 89
Dorothy N. Snelling Wilson, 89, Potwin, homemaker and retired waitress formerly of Florence, died March 9 at the Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.
The funeral was at 11 a.m., Monday, March 13, at Zeiner Funeral Home Chapel, Florence. Internment followed at Hillcrest Cemetery.
She was born Jan. 19, 1917, to Charles and Emma Silver Sidener in rural Chase County. On Jan. 18, 1936, she was married to Richard L. Snelling, who predeceased her in 1994. On Oct. 14, 1995, she was married to Woodrow Wilson, who predeceased her in 2005.
She is survived by two sons, Richard Duane Snelling and wife Donna of El Dorado and Dale Snelling and wife Loretta of Marion; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
