Jim and Diane Herron of Solomon announce the birth of a daughter, Maria Diane Herron, Feb. 16.

She weighed 7 pounds 2 ounces and was 19 inches long. She has two older brothers, Andrew, 4, and Peter, 2.

Grandparents are Jerry and Jeanne Rziha of Tampa and Floyd Herron of Wichita. Great-grandparents are Bonnie Hasouler of Abilene and Gertrude Rziha of Great Bend.

Paul Potocnik and Jaime Mowat of Lost Springs announce the birth of a son, Anthony Robert Potocnik, Jan. 29, at Mercy Regional Hospital in Manhattan.

He weighed 8 pounds 2 ounces and was 211/2 inches long. He has five siblings: Brent, Nikki, PJ, Maddie and Trenton.

Maternal grandparents are Robert and Cindy Mowat of Herington. Paternal grandparents are Juanita and the late Glenn Heitfield of Lost Springs.
