The following were honored at the birthday table Feb. 20: David Fast, Ted Friesen, Hulda Loewen, Mildred Jantz, Elma Warkentin, Rubena bartel and Carol Hicks. Birthday bingo was the program after the meal.

Marion County Retired School Personnel will meet for lunch at the senior center Thursday, March 2.A program and business meeting will follow the meal.

A new selection of books will arrive at the senior center March 3. They may be checked out for six weeks.

Mary McFadden, a registered nurse, will be at the senior center on Monday, March 6, for foot care by appointment and for taking blood pressure.

The following individuals volunteered their time at the center last week.

Kitchen: Nellie Jost, Betty Price, Irma Koop, Irma Groening, Kathy Rector, Carol Hicks, Bellie Penner, Ann Fast, Velda Hiebert and Mildred Jantz.

Meal delivery: Wilbur Hanneman, John Vogt and Ken Jost.

FISH transportation: Kermit Ratzlaff, Ray Matz and Gladys Schmidt.

Lemon baked fish, rice, green beans vinaigrett, wheat bread, Jell-O with oranges and pineapple, milk.

THURSDAY, March 2

Hamburger steak, brown gravy, mashed potatoes, California blend vegetables, wheat roll, Dole tropical fruit salad, milk.

FRIDAY, March 3

Chicken and dumplings, turkey and noodles, spinach, wheat bread, apricot halves, ice cream, milk.

MONDAY, March 6

Escalloped ham and potatoes, baked squash, wheat bread, fruit cocktail, bread pudding, milk.

TUESDAY, March 7

Swiss steak with tomatotoes, boiled potatoes, beets, wheat bread, Jell-O with fruit, oatmeal cookies, milk.

WEDNESDAY, March 8

Chili with beans, carrot and celery sticks, wheat roll, applesauce, cinnamon roll, milk.
