Games, gab and goodies will fill the afternoon Wednesday, Dec. 28, at the Hillsboro Senior Center.

The center will be closed Monday, Jan. 2, to observe New Year's Day.

For $1, Jeanne Rziha will give a pre-diabetic testing two hours after the meal Tuesday, Jan. 10, to determine if an individual has pre-diabetes or diabetes.

The following individuals volunteered their time at the center last week:

Kitchen: Nellie Jost, Margaret Funk, Irma Groening, Irma Koop, Eunice Matz, Ray Matz, Beryl Steiner, Bonnie Funk, Mariann Unruh, Lydia Pankratz.

Meal delivery: Bud Buller, Wilbur Hanneman.

Fish transportation: Kermit Ratzlaff, Ray Franz.

Sloppy Joe, baked potato, tossed salad, bun, mandarin orange gelatin.
