Richard L. Barber, 71, retired property manager and construction worker, died Nov. 21 in rural Marion County.
The service was held Nov. 28 at Marion Christian Church, with pastor Carl Helm officiating.
He was born Oct. 3, 1934, to James A. and Mary I. (Storm) Barber in McPherson. In 1970 he was married to Frances Miller, who survives in Marion.
He is also survived by a stepson, Chuck Miller of Marion; a brother, Ken and wife Lynda Barber of Denver, Colo.; and a sister, Jeannine Mathews of Onalaska, Wisc.
A memorial has been established with Marion Christian Church.
