Willis Abrahams, 84, auto mechanic and farmer, died Oct. 30 at Via Christi-St. Joseph in Wichita.
The memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, at Tabor Mennonite Church in rural Goessel with pastor Corey Miller officiating.
He was born Feb. 11, 1921, to Gerhart "George" and Helen (Richert) Abrahams in rural Goessel. In 1941 he was married to Marna Voth, who survives in Goessel.
He is also survived by three sons, Russ Abrahams and Rod Abrahams, both of Goessel, and Ryan Abrahams of Kintenersville, Penn.; two daughters, Marnette Hatchett and Carol Abrahams, both of Goessel; two sisters, Grace Schroeder of North Newton and Vera Prouty of Newton; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Mennonite Central Committee.
Lloyd Allnutt, 86
Lloyd Elwood Allnutt Sr., 86, retired business owner, died Oct. 22 in Cameron, Mo.
The service was held Oct. 26 at Free Methodist Church in Chillicothe, Mo. Burial was at Honey Creek Chapel in Dunlap, Mo.
He was born Aug. 31, 1919, to Freddie Dean and Hattie Mae Shelton Allnutt in Dunlap. In 1938 he was married to Nellie Josephine Allnutt, who predeceased him.
He is survived by a son, Freddie and wife Pat Allnutt of Hillsboro; two daughters, Pamela and husband Mark Walker of Shawnee and Gracie and husband Mark Bonderer of Chillicothe; a daughter-in-law, Lula Mae Allnutt of St. Joseph, Mo., 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and two-great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the Free Methodist Church of Chillicothe.
Jacob Hodel, 95
Jacob F. Hodel, retired AMPI purchasing agent, died Oct. 23 in Hillsboro.
The service was held Oct. 27 at Trinity Mennonite Church in Hillsboro with pastor Dave Plett officiating. Burial was at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church Cemetery.
He was born Aug. 23, 1910, to Jacob C. Hodel and Eva Funk Hodel in rural Hillsboro. In 1934 he was married to Susan, who predeceased him in 1999.
He is survived by two sons, Dwight Dale and wife Adrienne Hodel of Medlothian, Texas, and Richard Dean and wife Beverly Hodel of Grapevine, Texas; a daughter, Nelda Jean and husband Michael Regier of Hampton, Neb.; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Memorials have been established with the Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church Building Fund and Parkside Homes.
Joey Luce, infant
Joseph Edward Luce, 2 months, died Oct. 12 in Sacramento, Calif.
The memorial service was at Vinewood Community Church in Lodi, Calif.
He was born Aug. 14 to Chris and Kara (Richert) Luce in Lodi. He was born seven weeks premature with Langerhans cell histiocytosis in its most serious form, Leterer-Siwe disease.
He is survived by his parents; his grandparents, Jeff and Violet Luce of Washington and Ed and Phyllis Richert of Hillsboro; and aunts, uncles, cousins and great-grandparents.

Roy Schmidt, 88
Roy O. Schmidt, 88, retired Hesston Corp. employee, died Oct. 28 at Newton Medical Center.
The service was held Nov. 1 at Goessel Mennonite Church with pastors Kevin Goertzen and Greg Holmes officiating. Burial was at Goessel Cemetery.
He was born Nov. 29, 1916, to Karl and Helen (Schroeder) Schmidt in Newton. In 1998 he was married to Ruth Schmidt, who survives in Hesston.
He is also survived by a son, Jerry Schmidt of Boyne City, Mich.; two daughters, Carlotta Hemphill and Twila Schmidt, both of Lawrence; a brother, Ormond Schmidt of McPherson; a sister, Velora Krehbiel of Lakin; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials have been established with Goessel Mennonite Church and Mennonite Central Committee.
Edward Williams, 89
Edward O. Williams, 89, retired mechanic and farmer, died Oct. 26 at Kansas Veterans Home in Winfield.
The service was held Oct. 30 at Zeiner Funeral Home in Marion, with David Branson officiating. Burial was at Marion Cemetery.
He was born April 30, 1916, to Ernest and Alta (Anderson) Williams in Brookville. In 1950, he was married to Laurel Austin, who predeceased him in 1950. In 1954, he was married to Dovey Garrard, who predeceased him in 1986.
He is survived by two sons, Gary of Marion and Steve of Belle Plaine; a brother, Freelan of West Palm Beach, Fla.; a sister, Alta Mae Medley of Auburn, Calif.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Marion Central Park.
