Susie J. Ehrlich, 92, died Sept. 1 at St. Luke Hospital in Marion.
Funeral services were held Sept. 6 at Zeiner Funeral Home in Marion, with David Branson officiating. Burial was in Marion Cemetery.
She was born July 30, 1913, to Karl F. and Bertha (Eason) Klenk in Beaver County, Okla. She lost her parents at an early age and loved with foster parents Herrman and Mabel Massel nesr Peabody. In 1931 she was married to Morris N. Ehrlich, who predeceased her.
She is survived by a son, Donald and wife Judy Ehrlich of Emporia; a daughter, Donna and husband Bob Kelly of Marion; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Marion Manor.
Fred Friesen, 96
Fred Friesen, 96, retired poultry rancher and farmer, died Sept. 3 in Reedley, Calif.
A graveside service was held Sept. 10 at Reedley Cemetery, followed by a memorial service at Reedley Mennonite Brethren Chapel.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Anna.
He is survived by his second wife, Sarah Friesen of Reedley, Calif.; a son, Howard Friesen of Indiana; two daughters, Laura Fraley of Lemoore and Shirley Wiens of Huntington Beach, Calif.; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Herb Friesen, 75
Herb Friesen, 75, ophthalmologist and overseas service worker, died Aug. 12 at Hillsboro Community Medical Center.
The family will receive visitors Wednesday between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. at Jost Funeral Home.
The service will be held Thursday, Sept. 15, at Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church with pastor Steve Schroeder officiating. Burial will be in Ebenfeld Cemetery.
He was born Jan. 8, 1930, to Jacob and Tina Harder Friesen at Inola, Okla. On Aug. 12, 1955, he was married to Ruth Wiebe, who survives.
He also survived by four sons, Stan and Diane Friesen of Buffalo, N.Y., Brad and Nancy Friesen of Afghanistan, Ron and Laurie Friesen of Morocco, and Daniel and Helen Friesen of Winneipeg, Manitoba; a daughter, Julie and husband Gerald Reimer of Topeka; six brothers, John Friesen, Jake Friesen, Cal Friesen, Frank Friesen, Paul Friesen and Marvin Friesen; a sister, Esther Friesen; and 16 grandchildren.

Sylvester Harms, 81
Sylvester Harms, 81, retired building maintenance manager and teacher, died Sept. 2 at Labette County Medical Center in Parsons.
The service was held Sept. 9 at First Mennonite Church in Hillsboro, with pastors Duane Harms and Mark Koch officiating. Burial was at Grace Hill Cemetery east of Newton.
He was born June 18, 1924, to Leonard O. and Martha (Penner) Harms in Newton. In 1952 he was married to Alice Frieda Pankratz, who survives.
He is also survived by two sons, Stephen and wife Kathy Harms of Tucson, Ariz., and John and wife Paula Harms of Leawood; a daughter, Sheila and husband Sam Lyle of Parsons; two brothers, Irvin and wife Evelyn Harms of Moundridge and Willard and wife Ruby Harms of Peabody; a sister, Lillian and husband Elmer Leppke of Marion; seven grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.

Alice Neill, 87
Alice M. Weyand Neill, 87, died Sept. 2 at Beautiful Savior Home in Belton, Mo.
The services were Sept. 7 at Mt. Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home in Kansas City, Mo., Internment was at Mt. Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery.
She was born Oct. 29, 1917, to Emil and Bena Weyand in Chinook, Mont. In 1954 she was married to Norman Neill, who survives in Kansas City.
She is also survived by a son, Michael Neill and fiance Rachel Broadway; a sister, Erma and husband Carl Stelting; and two grandchildren.
