Amber and Tom Svoboda of Herington announce the birth of a son, Lane Thomas, born Aug. 25 at Mercy Regional in Manhattan.
He weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces and was 19 3/4 inches long.
Grandparents are Patrick and Jandee Moore of Marion and Mary Svoboda Dighton and John Svoboda, both of Lincolnville.
Great-grandparents are Carolyn Woerz of Marion and the late Warren Woerz and Royal and Mary Smith of Marion.
