Corrine Schwabauer, 73

Corrine J. Schwabauer, 73, retired health care worker, died Aug. 30 at Shiloh Manor Nursing Home in Canton.

The service was Sept. 2 at Canton Township Cemetery with pastor Jack Smith presiding.

She was born Nov. 1, 1932, to John C. and Laura Bradney Holder in Medicine Lodge. In 1970 she was married to Ted Schwabauer, who survives.

She is also survived by two sons, George Trammell of Cheyenne, Wyo., and John Trammell of Winnsboro, Texas; two daughters, Mary Herridge of Wichita and Lauretta Lewis of Harker Heights, Texas; two stepsons, Conrad Schwabauer of Tucson, Ariz., and Tony Schwabauer of Wichita; two stepdaughters, Jo Robinson of Green River, Ariz., and Terri Buckhart of Glendale, Ariz.; 22 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Memorials have been established with Shiloh Manor Nursing Home, Canton Senior Center and Harry Hynes Hospice

Louis Hiebert, 82

Louis R. Hiebert, 82, farmer and carpenter, died Sept. 3 at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro.

The service is at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9, at Ebenfeld Mennonite Brethren Church with pastor Gaylord Goertzen officiating. Burial will precede the service at 1:30 p.m. at Ebenfeld Cemetery in rural Hillsboro.

He was born Feb. 9, 1923, to Peter P. Hiebert and Margaret Claassen Hiebert in Hillsboro. In 1953 he was married to Berniece Buller, who survives.

He is also survived by a son, Lyn and Cynthia Hiebert of Augusta; two daughters, Nancy and Badie Mansour of Edmond, Okla., and Anita and Lawrence Luke of Wichita; and nine grandchildren.

Memorials have been established with Parkside Homes, Samaritan's Purse and World Challenge.
