Jennifer Rita Purner and Robert John Arnold, both of San Diego, Calif., were married March 11 at Saint Rita's Church in Sierra Madre, Calif. Fathers Maurice McCormick and Kieran McCormick officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Kathleen Purner of Pasadena, Calif., and the late Fred Purner. The groom is the son of Robert and Marge Arnold of McPherson. He is the grandson of Doris Arnold of Hillsboro and the late Robert A. Arnold, and Herman and Mildred Goertzen of Henderson, Neb.

Maid of honor was Monique Reavis. Bridesmaids were Lindsi Ginn, Bridget Gallo, Annie Bolger and Michelle Purner.

Best man was Kelly Arnold. Groomsmen were Casey Barton, Brad Stieben, Erik Vogel and Ethan Shamet.

Wedding receptions were held at Santa Anita Inn in Arcadia, Calif., and Cross Winds Conference Center in Hesston.

The bride is a graduate of Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy in La Canada, Calif., and the University of San Francisco with a political science degree. She is employed in marketing.

The groom is a graduate of McPherson High School and Tabor College. He is employed as the supervisor of events for the San Diego Padres baseball team.

Following a wedding trip to Tahiti, the couple resides in San Diego, Calif.
