Andrea Marie Wegerer of Kansas City, Mo., and Drew Edwin Salsbury of Lawrence announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Lou and Judy Wegerer of Marion. She graduated from Kansas State University in December with a degree in agriculture and is employed as a horticultural therapist.

Her fiance is the son of David and Denise Salsbury of Muncie, Ind. He graduated from Kansas State University in May with a degree in agriculture.

The couple plans to be married Aug. 13 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Pilsen.
