Larry and Peggy Jay of Goessel announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Karry Jay, to Jon Lawrence of Newton, son of Kurt and Donna Lawrence of Goessel and Suzanne Miller of Wichita.

The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of Goessel High School and a 2005 graduate of Wichita State University with a degree in business administration. She is employed at The Citizens State Bank in Moundridge.

Her fiance is a 2001 graduate of Goessel High School and works at Grabers Plumbing and Heating in Newton.

The wedding is planned for July 9 at Golden Plains Free Methodist Church in Newton.
