Paul and Alice (Schippers) Meysing will celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary with a family dinner in Abilene.
The couple were married May 2, 1950, at St. Mary's Cathedral in Wichita. They have lived on a farm near Pilsen all of their married life.
Their children are Will of Portland, Ore., Joseph, who is deceased, Don of Lincolnville, Greg of Goessel and Larry of Oklahoma City. They have eight grandchildren.
