Mildred J. Koehn, 80

Mildred J. Koehn, 80, homemaker, died April 1 at Newton Medical Center.

The service was held April 4 at Eden Mennonite Church of God in Christ Mennonite of rural Burns, with clergy Vernon Koehn and Roland Koehn officiating.

She was born Aug. 29, 1924, to David W. and Ida (Johnson) Koehn in McPherson County. On Aug. 15, 1948, she was married to Alvin Koehn, who survives.

She is also survived by three sons, Lowell and Lavonne Koehn of Burns, Carlos and Rose Koehn of Walnut Hill, Fla., and Dale and Joyce Koehn of Moundridge; a daughter, Myrna and Wendell Jantz of Sullivan, Ill.; three brothers, Elmer Koehn of Moundridge, Richard Koehn of Burns and Gladwin Koehn of Paris, Texas; and five sisters, Ruth Jantzen and Lillian Koehn, both of Moundridge, Hazel Smith of Rich Hill, Mo., Eunice Schmidt of DeRidder, La., and Neoma Hiebert of Blossom, Texas.

Memorials have been established with Newton Medical Center and Mercy Hospital, in care of Petersen Funeral Home of Newton.

Archie L. Leppke, 84

Archie "Arch" L. Leppke, 84, long-time employee of Hillsboro Industries and property maintenance worker, died April 2 at Norman Regional Hospital in Norman, Okla.

Services are pending and will be handled by Primrose Funeral Home of Norman.

He was born to David and Martha (Litke) Leppke southeast of Hillsboro. On Sept. 26. 1941, he was married to Irene Francis of Peabody, who survives.

He is also survived by two sons, Terry and wife Sherrie (Lewis), Don and wife Phyllis (Cherry), all of Norman, Okla.; a sister, Bessie Penner-Vogt of Hillsboro; and two brothers, Ikie Leppke of Pueblo, Colo., and David Leppke Jr. of Humboldt.

Richard Wall, 55

Richard Wall, 55, Tabor College professor, died March 27 at St. Luke Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.

The memorial service was April 2 at Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church, with pastor Gaylord Goertzen officiating.

A second service will be held at 1:15 p.m. Friday, April 8, in the chapel in the Lohrenz Building on the Tabor campus.

He was born Feb. 21, 1950, to Elmer and Frieda Bartel Wall of Hillsboro, who both survive. In 1973, he was married to JoAnn Hein, who survives.

He is also survived by two daughters, Jenny and Julie Wall, both of Hillsboro; one brother, Robert Wall of Conway Springs; and one sister, Sandra Garrard of Antelope.

Memorial funds have been established with the Tabor College biology department and the Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church Richard Wall Family Fund.
