A memorial service will be held for Richard Wall at 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 2 at Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church.
Tabor College will host a second memorial service will be held at 1:15 p.m. on Friday, April 8.
The public is invited to attend both services.
Erma Hiebert, 87
Erma H. Hiebert, 87, died March 27 at Schowalter Villa in Hesston.
Visitation is today, March 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home in Hesston. Burial will preceed the service at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 31 at the Walton Cemetery. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. at Grace Hill Mennonite Church in rural Whitewater, with pastor James Voth officiating.
She was born Feb. 5, 1918, to Dietrich B. and Katharina Kornelson Hiebert in Newton. In 1938 she was married to Frank Hiebert, who predeceased her. She is also predeceased by a son, Galen Hiebert.
She is survived by one brother, Olin Hiebert of Park City; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Memorials have been established with Mennonite Central Committee and Central Homecare & Hospice, in care of Miller Funeral Home.
Eldon Knak, 83
Eldon W. Knak, 83, farmer and machinist, died March 26 in Hillsboro.
The burial is at 1 p.m. today, March 30 at Haven of Rest Cemetery in rural Hillsboro. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at First Mennonite Church in Hillsboro.
He was born March 13, 1922, to William and Louise Penner Knak in Hillsboro. In 1946, he was married to Hilda Funk, who survives.
He is also survived by six sons, Michael of Hillsboro, Ronny of Wichita, Don of Florence, Glenn of Salina, Larry of Thomason Town, Penn., and Roger of Russell; one daughter, Clarice Warkentin of Hillsboro; one sister, Lois Koehn-Wells of California; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by an infant son, Steven Knak.
Memorial funds have been established with First Mennonite Church and American Heart Association.
Dean Ollenburger, 78
Dean D. Ollenburger, 78, farmer, died March 26 in Hillsboro.
The service is at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 30 at First Baptist Church of Durham, with pastor Curtis Wiens officiating. Burial will follow at Durham Park Cemetery.
He was born Dec. 29, 1926, to Henry and Hannah Miller Ollenburger in Durham. In 1950, he was married to Edith Gibson, who survives.
He is also survived by one son, Kenneth of Hillsboro; three daughters, Carolyn Kleiber, Marolyn Schlehuber and Sharolyn Buller, all of Hillsboro; two brothers, Wayne Ollenbuger of Hillsboro and Dalton Ollenburger of Moundridge; one sister, Pauline Harms of Hillsboro; and seven grandchildren.
Memorial funds have been established with First Baptist Church of Durham and Hospice Care of Kansas.
Audrey Unger, 74
Audrey B. Unger, 74, nurse aid for Home Health and waitress, died March 22 at St. Luke Hospital in Marion.
The funeral service was Friday morning at First Christian Church in Newton with the Rev. Gary Bell officiating. Burial followed at Ebenfeld Cemetery in rural Hillsboro.
She was born July 15, 1930, to Samuel and Rosinea Base Campbell in Tampa. In 1975 she married Harry Unger, who survives in Peabody.
She is also survived by three sons, Dennis Gillen of Hesston, Darrell Gillen of Wyoming and Alan Gillen of Peabody; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial fund has been established with St. Luke Hospital in Marion.
Isabelle Unrau, 92
Isabelle Unrau, 92, died March 22 in Hillsboro.
The funeral service was Monday morning at Trinity Mennonite Church in Hillsboro, with pastors Dave Plett and Bruce Porter officiating. Burial followed at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Cemetery.
She was born August 20, 1912, to Jacob T. Claassen and Susie Sawatzky in Meade. In 1938 she was married to Arthur Unrau, who survives.
She is also survived by one son, Paul Unrau of Moundridge; three daughters, Phyllis Schroeder of Lakewood, Colo., Elvera Rempel of Hillsboro and Priscilla Wieneke of Bakersfield, Calif.; two sisters, Goldie Janzen of Fresno, Calif. and Virginia Friesen of McPherson; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
