The Tabor College track and field teams turned in strong performances at McPherson College on Saturday.
The women captured the team title while the men placed second.
"We had a lot of fine early-season performances and improvements from last week and that is very positive as we go into spring break," coach Dave Kroeker said.
Also competing were McPherson, Bethany, Kansas Wesleyan, Bethel, Sterling and Ottawa.
For the men, Matt Rorabaugh tied the school high-jump record at 6-feet, 9-inches to win the event. He also met the automatic qualifying height for the NAIA outdoor national meet in May.
Matt Lynam broke the school 10,000-meter record with a time of 36 minutes, 24.97 seconds.
Tabor swept the 110-meter high hurdles with Trent Voth taking first in a time of 15.71, Phillip Aitken (15.99) taking second and Brian Lightner (16.34) placing third.

This was the last meet at Tabor for coach Suzy Best; she and her husband are moving to Florida.
"Suzy has done a terrific job over the past several years with the middle-distance and distance runners," Kroeker said.
Tabor will compete at Cowley County Community College on Saturday, April 2.
