Breanna Wray, Walsh, Colo., has signed a letter of intent to participate in the Tabor College women's track and field program, according to coach Dave Kroeker.
Wray, a shot put and discus thrower, was a state finalist as a freshman and sophomore. Her junior year she was the state champion in shot put and broke the school record.
"Having a thrower of Breanna's ability in the program will really benefit our team," Kroeker said. "She will also be a wonderful addition to our campus because of the kind of person she is. She will be a difference-maker at TC."
In addition to her athletic achievements, Wray is a member of the National Honor Society, the Walsh High School honor roll and is a Wendy's High School Heisman nominee.
Wray is the daughter of Doug and Anne Wray, Campo, Colo.
