Joe and Barbara Alvarez Jr. of Hillsboro and Lyman and Marie Adams Jr. of Hillsboro announce the engagement of their children, Laci Jo Alvarez and Kane Michael Adams.

The bride-elect, a graduate of Hillsboro High School, will graduate in May from Kansas State University with a degree in human resource management.

Her fiance, also a Hillsboro High School graduate, will graduate in May from Kansas State University with a degree in social science.

The wedding is planned for June 4 in the Tabor College Park.
