Their parents are Tim and Donna Diener of Hillsboro and Lonnie and Melinda Nichols of Eureka.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Hillsboro High School and will graduate from Kansas State University in May with a degree in agribusiness.
Her fiance is a graduate of Eureka Senior High School School and will graduate from K-State in May with a degree in agricultural economics.
The couple plans to marry June 11 at Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church in Hillsboro.

announce nuptials
Alisa Jost of Hillsboro and Ben T. Schmidt of Newton announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
Their parents are Lynn and Donna Jost of Hillsboro and Greg and Marguerite Schmidt of Newton.
The bride-elect is a student at Tabor College majoring in biochemistry and Biblical and religious studies.
Her fiance is a Biblical and religious studies and philosophy major at Tabor.
The wedding is planned for May 29 in the Tabor College park.
