Augusta "Gussie" Kleiber, 93, homemaker of Hillsboro, died Dec. 30 in Hillsboro.
The funeral was Jan. 3 at Zion Lutheran Church in Hillsboro with pastor Clark M. Davis officiating. Burial was at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Hillsboro.
She was born Oct. 27, 1911, to Fred M. and Marie (Becker) Riffel in Council Grove. On May 21, 1929, she was married to Donald V. Duke, who passed away in 1957. On Jan. 11, 1960, she was married to Vernon Kleiber, who predeceased her in 1982.
She is survived by two sons, Dean Duke and wife Joyce of Marion and Gene Duke and wife Shirley of Durham; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and eight great-great-
grandchildren.
Memorials have been established with Zion Lutheran Church and Hillsboro Community Medical Center Long Term Care Unit.

Duane R. Klose, 49
Duane R. Klose, 49, of Hillsboro and lumberman at The Lumberyard in Hillsboro, died Jan. 3 at Via Christi Regional Medical Center-St. Joseph Campus in Wichita.
The memorial service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 7, at Zion Lutheran Church in Hillsboro with pastor Clark M. Davis officiating. Burial of cremains will be held at 10 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
He was born Sept. 28, 1955, to Albert and Jeri (Hess) Klose in Marion.
He is survived by his parents of Hillsboro; one son, Joshua Taylor; and one sister, JoAnn Hicks of Marion.
Memorials have been established with the American Heart Association and the Zion Lutheran Church building fund.

Shannon L. Rush, 32
Shannon L. Rush, 32, employed as a stocker at Wal-Mart in McPherson, died Dec. 30 at his home in Marion.
The two funeral services were Jan. 3 at Zeiner Funeral Home in Marion with pastor Larry King officiating and Jan. 4 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in WaKeeney with pastor Randy Gibbs officiating. Burial was Jan. 4 at WaKeeney City Cemetery.
He was born Nov. 13, 1972, to Terry and Olive Rush in Plainville. On April 22, 2000, he was married to Darla McFadden, who survives.
He is also survived by his parents of WaKeeney; his grandparents, Leslie and Elizabeth Rush of WaKeeney and Olive Griffith of Belfast, Northern Ireland; one son, Matthew Rush of Hays; three daughters, Alexis Rush and Olivia Rush, both of Marion and Christina Rush of Hays; two brothers, Christopher Rush of Kansas City and Terry Powers of Savannah, Ga.; and one sister, Melissa Rush of Overland Park.
A memorial has been established as the Rush Children Trust Fund in care of Zeiner Funeral Home.
Rhoda Mae Taylor, 76
Rhoda Mae Taylor, 76, homemaker of Amarillo, Texas, died Dec. 30 at Baptist St. Anthony Hospital in Amarillo.
The funeral was Jan. 3 at Spring Valley Mennonite Church in Canton. Burial was at Spring Valley Mennonite Church Cemetery.
She was born May 27, 1928, to William and Ella (Selzer) Landis. On Aug. 1, 1947, she was married to Wiley L. Taylor, who predeceased her in 2001.
She is survived by one son, Leonard Taylor of Amarillo; four daughters, Brenda Garrison, Ellen Jones and Eloise Pacheco, all of Amarillo, and Linda Coleman of Allen, Texas; one brother, Fred Landis of Midland, Texas; one sister, Dollie Hershberger of Hesston; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Spring Valley Mennonite Church in care of Olson's Mortuary of Canton.
