The engagement and approaching marriage of Jennifer Bergen and Roger Adams, both of Manhattan, is announced by the couple and their parents, Dan and Joyce Bergen of Goessel and Beverly Adams of Kenton Hills, Ky.
The bride-elect earned bachelor's and master's degrees in English from Kansas State University. She is youth-services manager with Manhattan Public Library.
The groom-to-be earned a degree in history from Northern Kentucky University and a master's degree in library sciences from the University of Kentucky.
The couple will be married Jan. 19 at St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.
